Cindy discovered this fish dish years ago, and it has been one of her favorites ever since. It’s ridiculously easy to make, but the light, fluffy fish and the creamy, cheesy topping make this dish absolutely heavenly.

Begin by broiling your halibut for about 8 minutes. Then mix Parmesan cheese, butter, mayo, lemon juice, green onions, salt and hot pepper sauce together for the topping.

Cover the fish with the cheesy topping and broil for about 2 minutes, or until bubbly and golden brown.

Once the topping is golden and bubbly, it’s ready to nom on. We plated ours with some fresh asparagus that we broiled with olive oil, garlic, salt and pepper. It was heavenly.

Here’s the recipe:
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup butter, softened
3 tablespoons mayonnaise
2 tablespoons lemon juice
3 tablespoons chopped green onions
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 dash hot pepper sauce
2 pounds skinless halibut fillets

Preheat the oven broiler. Grease a baking dish.

In a bowl, mix the Parmesan cheese, butter, mayonnaise, lemon juice, green onions, salt, and hot pepper sauce.

Arrange the halibut fillets in the prepared baking dish.

Broil halibut fillets 8 minutes in the prepared oven, or until easily flaked with a fork. Spread with the Parmesan cheese mixture, and continue broiling 2 minutes, or until topping is bubbly and lightly browned.

This is the food of the Gods. Seriously.
